Southern California's favorite English Language School
Our San Diego Pacific Beach location is open and we are offering onsite classes. Our San Diego Downtown and our Los Angeles Santa Monica branch remain closed until further notice (Covid 19 related).
Founded in 1981, the College of English Language offers high-quality English language courses, as well as exam preparation courses to international students. We have 3 schools throughout California, located in San Diego, Pacific Beach and Santa Monica.
Our experienced teachers and small classes (max. 12 students per class) provide students with a personal and enriching academic environment. Learning English at CEL is much more than learning the top language in the world. It’s an opportunity to experience American culture, meet students from other countries and cultivate an international perspective.
CEL is accredited by the Commission of English Language Accreditation (CEA), recognized by the U.S. Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVIS) and a member of English USA.
